US President Donald Trump on Friday, threatened to pull out of a deal freezing and reversing Iran’s nuclear program if Congress and US allies do not agree to strengthen it. He also unveiled a tough and comprehensive new policy toward the Islamic Republic.

The seven-country deal was agreed in 2015, under which Iran has halted its nuclear program in return for the partial lifting of sanctions. President Trump says that Iran is violating the deal. He further said that Iran is also threatening other countries with their nuclear powers.

Instead of killing the whole deal, Trump gave some strategies. Even then the congress knew that they would have to face the consequences of an outburst by Iranians. And that is exactly what happened. People of Iran has spoken up, calling the President, “the second Hitler”.

People of Iran walking on street were interviewed to give their views on the speech given by Donald Trump.

“I think this reaction which Mr. Trump gave about JCPOA [Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action] shows that Mr. Trump has mental health problems,” said an Iranian student Alireza Agah.

He also added, “I think this situation, which was made by Trump. It means he’s the second Hitler impacting on our lives.”

After every 90 days, the President of United States has to evaluate the deal with Iran, in which Trump recently said that Iran has failed by not keeping their end of the deal.

“In the event, we are not able to reach a solution working with Congress and our allies. Then the agreement will be terminated. It is under continuous review and our participation can be canceled by me as President, at any time,” said Trump.

President Trump said that the deal which Obama struck with Iran was the worst one-sided sanction that USA has entered into. After Trump refused to certify the deal with Iran, people started speaking up.

A citizen of Iran, Farhad Abdolahi said, “Iranians should stand against him and resist as it is Iran’s right and should get its right forcefully from him [Trump] and I think he himself can’t do anything with what he said, his words are not the words.”

“The world doesn’t accept it and Europe and even US as a country doesn’t accept it and Mr. Obama said these words: this law is unacceptable which has passed and all the world accepts it and it is not possible that just one person says no,” added Abdolahi.

“It’s obvious that no one is satisfied with the pressures that he [Trump] is imposing on us and even the people of the US don’t agree with the pressure that he imposes on Iran and some other countries,” said an Iranian housewife, Mahnaz Gervei.

She also mentioned that even people of USA do not accept their President then how can an Iranian accept him?

“How can I accept him as an Iranian when his people stand against him and maybe don’t accept him. His type of politics, type of his behavior and even his political views and Trump’s country doesn’t accept people around him. Definitely I don’t accept him.”

“Definitely. My expectations are not that Iranian authorities get along with him, but what they feel is that they need to get their rights from him. That’s my feeling, my view.”

Shahram Shahbakhsh, an Iranian employee gave a statement, “My government tried to make JCPOA [Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action] possible and put all their effort into it, unfortunately the US, as our leader always says, is never reliable and we should not trust them.”

“It has not been reliable and I, as a Basiji, say that the Islamic Revolutionary Guards should never, ever be sanctioned. Not just Trump even someone bigger than Trump can’t impose sanctions on the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps [IRGC].

“Our Islamic Revolutionary Guard is a super-power. It is a super-power in the region and in the world and we will stand till the last moments and won’t be afraid of Trump’s threats,” said Shahbakhsh.

The Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani also didn’t stay quiet after the speech was given at White House.

“He [US President Donald Trump] apparently doesn’t know that it is not a bilateral document between Iran and the US, he behaves in any way that he wants.”

He also said, “If one day our interests are not served and if the parties to the agreement want to break their obligations. Iran will not wait and answer them as soon as possible.”

The Iranian President came out to say, “Their missiles, their nuclear weapons are for defense of their country. Our weapon, our missile is for our defense; we have been always determined for defending, and today we are more determined.

“We were always trying to build weapons which we needed and from now we try more. Our weapon is for our defense and we continue defending and reinforcing our defending.”

“I invite the President of the United States to read both history and geography better and international agreements, as well as world literature, ethics and customs,” said Hassan Rouhani.

He said this to inform Donald Trump that he cannot just go on and threaten to end a written deal. It was signed between Iran, Obama the USA president of that time and International Officials.

Hassan further wanted to clarify that Donald needs to have information before trying to give such a statement. And that Trump has no ethics and needs to learn them.

Trump said on Friday that Iran has failed to keep the JCPOA deal intact.

“We cannot and will not make this certification. We will not continue down a path whose predictable conclusion is more violence, more terror and the very real threat of Iran’s nuclear breakout,” said Trump.

“I am directing my administration to work closely with Congress and our allies to address the deal’s many serious flaws so that the Iranian regime can never threaten the world with nuclear weapons.”

He said that Iran has to work harder to keep their end of bargain or the deal would eventually be terminated. Trump also added that the Congress and International Allies are working together to renew the deal.

They would add some new reinforcements to it so that Iran would never threaten anyone with their nuclear power. Because of his speech at White House, protesters have started to plead that they do not want ‘War with Iran’.

Foreign leaders are urging Donald Trump not to back out of the deal. And that it could have deadly consequences. The deal was signed by USA, Britain, Germany, Russia, China, France and the European Union with Iran in 2015.

The Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action was established in 2015. It was made to stop Iran from developing more nuclear weapons. According to Trump, Iran violated this when they tested a Missile last month. But the nuclear deal does not comprehensively cover the missile development programs.

The speaker of the Iranian parliament, Ali Larijani, said that a United States withdrawal from the deal would signal its end.

He warned that the collapse of the deal could result in global chaos!
