While Princess Diana was aware that her children were growing up in the most proper household in the world, she was always focused on making sure they had a normal childhood. Her son’s 13th birthday was no different.

Daily Star reported that Princess Diana’s personal chef, Darren McGrady, recalled seeing the cake when he opened the fridge the morning of Prince William’s birthday. He said, “I came into work that morning and went down to the refrigerator, opened the door and I was just confronted with the biggest pair of b**bs I’ve ever seen in my life. The Princess had ordered a b**bs cake for William’s 13th birthday. I wish I’d taken a photograph of it! I didn’t know anything about it. I just thought, ‘Oh my gosh’.

McGrady added that Prince Harry insisted on getting the same for himself, saying, “While Prince William turned red looking at the cake, Prince Harry insisted that he wanted a similar birthday cake on his birthday.

The chef also recalled, “I asked the butler, ‘What on earth is this?’ and he said the Princess had ordered it for William’s birthday.” However, his was not where Princess Diana’s fun ended. She had a few special guests to make William’s 13th birthday as memorable as possible: supermodels.

According to McGrady, “I remember that day really well because the Princess said they were coming. I was super excited and I wanted to meet them too but I didn’t get the chance. It was Claudia Schiffer, Christy Turlington, and Naomi Campbell.

Meanwhile, this year Prince William spent his birthday by giving a speech at the Defence and National Rehabilitation Center. The center is designed to be a follow-up to the Headley Court, and will provide rehabilitation facilities to members of the Armed Forces that have undergone major trauma or injury during their service.

While at the center, the Prince said, “I have been the Patron of the DNRC for 4 years and I have enjoyed every single moment of it.  I have seen the growth of an idea transfer into what we see today – and it is a rare and immensely satisfying thing to have witnessed.” The Duke of Cambridge also read out a poem about PTSD titled One for the Team written by Debbie Lawson at the event.
