In a rare bout of social media activity, Zayn Malik thanked his fans for the love after apologizing profusely to them over the weekend.
Zayn Malik took to Twitter to thank his fans for all the love and support after apologizing to them for being a “s**t person”. The 26-year-old star posted the apology on Saturday and later deleted the tweet without explaining anything.
He then wrote, ”Currently happy, could be happier. Thanks for all the love and thoughts yesterday just had a vent ha x (sic)'”. His original tweet read, ”I’d like apologize for basically being a s**t person, (sic)”
Malik’s tweet came after former One Direction band member Louis Tomlinson revealed him and Malik fell out when the latter did not show up to support his X Factor appearance just days after the passing of his mother Johannah Deakin in 2016.
Louis said, ”Truthfully it never really got better to be honest. I had a couple of calls with him after I lost me mum and, you know, all the boys had agreed to come to that performance and he didn’t show and that really bugged me.” The rest of the One Direction members, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Liam Payne did show up at the event.
Louis also said, ”Everyone showed and it was a moment of … I got goosebumps there and seeing Harry, Niall, and Liam, that was what I needed that night, that support.”
The tweet could also have been directed at Malik’s ex Gigi Hadid.
