The actor has been experimenting with his look for quite some time. Efron posted a picture in March in which his hair was in stripes across his face. He was rocking frosted tips with a few different shades of blonde. Back in July, Efron got dreadlocks ‘just for fun’, stirring up some controversy because of how people felt it represented appropriation and insensitivity.

Maybe the new hair is a sign of a new upcoming role announcement for Efron?
