The sons of Paul McCartney and John Lennon have given the fans of the iconic band Beatles quite the hit of nostalgia.

The legendary duo’s sons have come together to upload an epic selfie on Instagram, which has been the most heartwarming thing to see for a Beatles fan this week.

John Lennon’s son, Sean Ono Lennon, took to Instagram to upload a selfie with his friend, who just so happens to be Paul McCartney’s son, James McCartney.

The photo was captioned, “Peekaboo…”

Fans are pointing out that the two young men were seen bearing a striking resemblance to not just their fathers, but also to each other!

Sean Ono was seen leaning on a guitar held in place by James, which has kept us wondering what the duo is up to. Have they gotten together to make music, or is it just a regular selfie taken by the two old pals? We must wait to find the answers.

Paul McCartney, who is now 71 years old, is a father to five children. James McCartney is his only son, who seems to not just have inherited his father’s looks, but also his penchant for music. Besides James, Paul is a father to four lovely daughters – Heather McCartney, Mary McCartney and Stella McCartney with his wife Linda McCartney, who passed away 20 years ago. He had his youngest daughter, Beatrice McCartney, with his second wife, Heather Mills.

Sean Ono Lennon was born to John Lennon and his second wife Yoko Ono. He also has a half brother named Julian Lennon, who was welcomed into the world by Lennon with his first wife, Cynthia Lillian Lennon.

The selfie has shown how similar the offsprings of the iconic Beatles duo look, and with their mutual love for music — the world should start preparing for the rise of the next generation of legendary musicians, by taking a walk down the Abbey Road, too.
