Miley Cyrus is not one to shy away from a subject, and the Wrecking Ball singer has now revealed how she makes long distance work with Liam Hemsworth.
Miley Cyrus visited Howard Stern on the Howard Stern Show on SiriusXM Wednesday, and the Malibu singer was sure to share a lot of details about her personal life.
She and Hemsworth recently lost their home in the California wildfires and while Cyrus was out of town, Hemsworth was in the thick of it, helping to save all of the couple’s animals from the flames.
Cyrus said, “Liam, I’ve never loved him more for this.”
Howard Stern then asked her if Hemsworth was her boyfriend or her fiance, to which Cyrus said, “Ish…I call him my survival partner now. He thinks it’s not romantic, but I learned that it is. It is why you pair up with someone is for survival. And he was so incredible, he got all the animals out in his truck. He put two pigs in crates, which I tell you is so hard.”
She added, “He got a lot of action for saving the animals.” Stern laughingly asked what the couple do when they are not together, to which Miley said, “That’s what FaceTime’s for. Cybers*x.”
She also described the life that the two of them live together, saying it is surprisingly normal. She explained, “We have a really regular life, he’s a really amazing cook. So I just end up smoking weed and eating, and he has these weird genetics, where him and his brother are actually f**king superheros and they just eat. And I’m like, ‘Why am I getting so soft?’ And he’s like, ‘I’m feeding the cannons.”
She added that while she gains weight from all the eating, he only seems to get more muscular with time, saying, “And all of the sudden he just eats and eats and eats and he gets more ripped. It’s not fair! I wake up where I can’t open my eyes because I’ve had so much salt.”
Stern also asked Miley what she does to maximize her time spent with Hemsworth since the couple travel so much, and she explained, “We travel around together, usually we live in Malibu, so right now we live in Nashville and adjusting.”
She also revealed how the couple have dealt with their home burning down, saying, “I think the hardest thing for both of us right now is to go back, a lot of people are starting to get back to their homes, people that didn’t lose their homes. But Malibu just isn’t the same for right now, the air quality, the water, ’cause he surfs every day.”
Liam recently wished Cyrus a happy birthday with a sweet message on Instagram, writing, “Happy birthday to my sweet girl. You’re more precious than ever. So thankful to have you in my life.”
On the birthday before this one, he wrote, “Happiest birthday to my favorite little angel.”
Cyrus also added that she lost her entire book of songs in the fire, including the book in which she had written her hit track, Malibu.
Cyrus and Hemsworth have not announced if they have any plans to get married.
