Meghan Markle and Prince Harry introduce Baby Sussex to the world. It is a boy!
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex offered the first glimpse of their newborn son at the St. George’s Hall in Windsor Castle two days after his birth. They opted out of the tradition of revealing the newborn outside the hospital.
The Royal baby was born at 5:26 a.m. Monday and weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces. He will be officially meeting the Queen of England today.
When asked about how she felt, Markle replied, “It’s magic. It’s pretty amazing. I have the best two guys in the world, so I’m really happy.”
She also mentioned that her baby boy “has the sweetest temperament. He’s really calm.” To which Harry replied, “I don’t know where he gets that from!”
Meghan Markle continued, “He’s just been a dream. It’s been a special couple of days.”
Talking about the baby’s features and parenting, Harry answered, “Everyone says babies change so much over two weeks. We’re basically monitoring how the changing process happens over this next month, really. His looks are changing every single day, so who knows?”
The Duke also said, “Parenting is amazing. It’s only been two and a half days, but we’re just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy.” He also mentioned that he is excited for some “precious times with him as he slowly, slowly starts to grow up.”
The baby’s name has yet to be revealed.
