In a subtle but also totally in-your-face statement, Kylie Jenner has uploaded a photo of herself standing with Travis, making it clear that he is Stormi’s real father. This comes after rumors and speculations about the little girl’s real father, with guesses ranging from Kylie’s ex-boyfriend to her bodyguard.
Kylie captioned the picture, “Stormi’s parents.”
This is clearly a clapback to rumors which said Stormi’s parentage is doubtful. The photo shows Kylie standing with boyfriend and baby daddy, Travis Scott, at Met Gala 2018.
Kylie’s photo is a direct response to widespread online rumors that Stormi isn’t Travis’s daughter. Haters have asserted that the baby doesn’t look anything like him and instead resembles Kylie’s 20-year-old bodyguard, Tim Chung. Tim is only a part-time bodyguard and also models in his free time. He is buff and is of Asian heritage, which Stormi also seems to reflect, according to gossipmongers online.
Twitterati were convinced the baby was Tim’s.
So we’re just gonna ignore the fact that Stormi looks just like Kylie Jenner’s bodyguard.!?!? pic.twitter.com/XI5iPalsAN

Initially, Kylie laughed off the rumors. A source close the family spoke to Hollywood Life, saying, “Kylie thinks it’s hilarious that fans think her bodyguard could be her baby daddy and not Travis.” He also went on to comment on the fact that people think Stormi resembles Tim, saying that Travis gets a ‘huge kick’ out of the speculations.
“Babies can look like anyone when they’re that young, so Kylie and Travis think it is stupid that people are drawing that connection and haven’t even given it a second thought,” the source reported. It is not a completely ridiculous retort, considering that people online have discovered potato chips that look like Jesus, among other inanimate objects.
Tim himself has completely discredited the theory. He seemed to have been tolerating the whole hullabaloo with quiet dignity earlier. He was cornered by paparazzi last week while he celebrated his birthday at Delilah nightclub. When asked whether he was indeed Stormi’s dad, he just grinned but stayed frustratingly quiet. Fans were annoyed at his reticence and theorized that Kylie must have told him to refrain from commenting.
Later, however, he spoke to TMZ and gave an official statement in which he completely denied the rumors. Not only that but he called all the gossip “ridiculous” and “laughable”. He made it clear that he wasn’t taking any of the rumors seriously and also didn’t appreciate the intrusion into his private life. Tim said he is a private person and doesn’t like answering questions like these. He also wants this narrative to be put to rest.
“Out of deep respect for Kylie, Travis, their daughter together and their families, I would like to set the record straight that my interactions with Kylie and her family have been limited in strictly a professional capacity only,” he said. Tim definitely commented that he didn’t want to be included in a false story and also said all this intrusion has been very disrespectful to the whole Kardashian-Jenner family.
Earlier, Kylie’s ex-boyfriend Tyga also wandered into the fray, asking for a paternity test. He seemed to think Stormi was actually his offspring but both his assumptions and other rumors were quashed after Kylie proved his claims wrong.
Twitter continues to stay aflutter with the Kylie-Tim conspiracy theory but Kylie has had her say and has made it clear she doesn’t have anything else to prove.
