Kourtney Kardashian and Younes Bendijima seem to be having trouble in paradise after the model impulsively threw some shade at her in the comments under her recent Instagram picture.
On Monday, Kourtney posted a picture in a tiny bikini and a wide-brimmed sun hat. The 39 year old mother of three was all out there in the picture, and seemed extremely happy about it by the state of her smile. However, her 25 year old boyfriend did not seem to appreciate the picture nearly as much, because he commented underneath saying, “That’s what you need to show to get likes?” The comment was deleted soon after it was posted, but many fans saw it and realized that Kourtney boyfriend had issues with her revealing social media content.
This is also not the first time Younes has done something like this. A source told E!, “Kourtney doesn’t appreciate Younes posting his feelings in a public forum and being impulsive. She’s frustrated that he continues to get upset about it. She isn’t going to stop doing what she’s doing and feels like he needs to understand and deal with it.”
The insider also said that Younes comments such things in the spur of the moment, and regrets it after he has written his thoghts, saying, “Younes gets jealous and can be possessive of Kourtney. When she posts half naked pictures, he gets very upset. He wants her for himself and doesn’t want to share her with the world.”
This turbulence is surprising for the couple’s fans to see, given that they just returned from a long trip to Europe together. According to the insider, while the vacation was amazing, “it was sad when they had to say goodbye and she returned to the States. He’s been missing her like crazy and got emotional.” The emotion is probably what spurred the over reaction in the first place.
The insider further explained that Kourtney then had to make clear that this was an essential part of her job and that she could not stop posting revealing content just because he was not okay with it, saying, “Kourtney has explained its part of her job and it’s not going to change. But it still makes him uncomfortable and upset. He overreacted and put up a comment without thinking it through. Then he realized what he did made it even worse. He was just not thinking in the moment and got emotional.”
The caption of Kourtney’s Instagram post is probably a reference to all this drama. She wrote, “Don’t be shady, be a lady.” And while Bendijima did not seem to appreciate his girlfriend, others were quick to appreciate Kourtney’s figure in the picture.
Kourtney’s job, which is essentially opening up her life to the public, will air again in season 15 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, starting August 5.
