On Kanye West’s birthday, Kim Kardashian had a conversation with Jack Dorsey, the CEO of Twitter, about adding an edit button to the site.
On June 12, the 37-year-old celebrity revealed the news about their discussion on Twitter. She wrote, “I had a very good convo with @jack this weekend at Kanye’s bday and I think he really heard me out on the edit button.”
The 41-year-old tech genius replied to her tweet immediately. Not revealing whether or not he would actually go with her suggestion, he sarcastically responded, “Now I see why I was invited!”
Kim later responded that the edit button was not the reason that Jack was invited. However, she did admit that while he was there, she did have to bring it up.
Kim tweeted, “Hahaha never! Kanye loves you! But I had to bring it up.”
This isn’t the first time the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star voiced her concern for an edit button. Back in July 2015, Kim posted another tweet on her account. It read, “I just emailed Twitter to see if they can add an edit feature so that when u misspell something i don’t have to delete & repost. Let’s see…”
Jack replied to her more formally at the time. He said, “Great idea! We’re always looking at ways to make things faster and easier.”
Even though Jack said that, it is doubtful that he actually felt that way. It has been three years and there still has not been any sign of an upcoming edit button.
In 2017, Kim tweeted about the edit button again. She said, “Please Twitter we’re still waiting for the edit button!”
However, this time, Jack Dorsey gave no response.
Just two weeks ago, the beauty mogul and reality TV queen paid a visit to the White House to talk about prison reforms and sentencing with President Donald Trump.
Kim asked Trump to pardon Alice Marie Johnson, a woman who was serving a life sentence for a first-time drug offense without parole. Alice was granted clemency following the meeting, and reunited with her family after 22 years.
