Khloe Kardashian’s trainer has revealed that her insane 33lb weight loss after True Thompson is the result of twelve workouts a week and visits from True.
Khloe Kardashian has shocked fans with how quickly her body bounced back after she gave birth to True Thompson on 12 April. The new mother shed 33bs in just three months. She credited her weight loss herself to an extremely low carb diet, which included spoonfuls of almond butter, cherry tomatoes and eggs. Before heading in for a workout, Khloe has one tablespoon of jam and one of almond butter to give her the boost she needs to be able to workout.
Her trainer, Don Brooks, has now revealed that diet is only part of Khloe Kardashian’s snapback. The Good American owner also has a gruelling workout schedule to thank, in which she hits the gym twice a day, six days a week. Speaking to TMZ, Don revealed that Khloe’s three month old is her motivation for this insane workout plan.
Don, who is known for his workout plan called Don-A-Matrix, said that he makes Khloe go through his four quarter plans. The plan combines resistance training and cardio, a perfect mix of which is what allows Kardashian to “burn body fat and lose a lot of weight.” Khloe undergoes this incredible plan twelve times a week, and what gets her through this insanity is her daughter True. Don said, “You know baby True makes an appearance at the end of every workout.”
On her app, Khloe revealed that in her opinion, her post-baby weight loss is a mix of staying active and breastfeeding. She wrote, “I’m chalking this up to the combination of breastfeeding and being very active during and after my pregnancy.” She added that what she found most important during this process was to not put any pressure on herself to look a certain way, despite the outside pressure on her and her sisters to look perfect all the time. She wrote, “After I had True, I didn’t put any pressure on myself to lose the baby weight. I just wanted to get back to my regular routine from before I got pregnant, which was working out five to six times a week.”
She added, “Here is where I am at currently. True turned 3 months old on July 12. I honestly didn’t give myself a number that I wanted to lose by this time, especially since I wasn’t able to work out for the first six weeks. But, since then, I’ve lost 33 pounds! I’m shocked that I lost that much weight that quickly.”
Khloe recently moved back to California, which makes it easier for her to work with Don and other trainers that she trained with before getting pregnant.
