Khloe Kardashian resorted to talk in a hilarious Essex accent after feeling left out during an interview alongside Emma Grede with a British host.
Khloe sat down with Extra‘s Mark Wright in her first interview since giving birth to daughter True. She talked about the launch of active wear in her brand, Good American and was accompanied by company CEO Emma Grede. Both Wright and Grede are from Essex, and grew up just five minutes away from each other. They instantly started bonding over this, making Khloe feel left out.
Mark asked her, “Emma has a lovely accent. It’s a stereotype Essex girl accent. Can you pull it off? Can you speak like us?” Both Wright and Grede then challenged Khloe to speak in an Essex accent, with Grede telling her to say, “Good American is b****y amazing.” Khloe declined, saying, “Oh my God the pressure. Oh my God that’s a hard sentence.”
Wright then asked her to say, “We’re here to talk about our new line on Extra.” Khloe’s attempts reduced the host and two guests to hysterics as her accent slipped in and out while saying the line.
She finally got it right on the third attempt with a simple “I love football.” The accent was definitely English, but it is for Essex natives to say how true it was to that locality.
Khloe’s athleisure line has dropped right after the reality TV star returned to work following the birth of her two month old daughter. In the interview, Khloe revealed that she loved the first two months that she had alone with daughter True, and that it was necessary to develop a connection between herself and her daughter. She said she has enjoyed returning to work as well.
As with the range in general, Good American’s athleisure line promotes a body positive attitude to working out and wearing workout clothes. The styles come in a wide range of styles and sizes and are appropriate for all body types and preferences.
The reality TV show Khloe stars in, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, releases August 5.
