Kendall Jenner shared her struggles with acne as part of a ‘raw’ story for a new partnership, and fans think the supermodel has lost all sense of reality and perspective.
The 21 year old supermodel shared how she dealt with acne for her whole life and is still struggling today as part of a highly anticipated reveal.
Kris Jenner hyped it up in a video posted on her social media where she talked about how Kendall would share a ‘raw story’ soon.
In the video, Jenner said, “When I was 14, I couldn’t reach as many people that I can now that I’m 22. Now I have this whole thing behind me, I can speak to so many people and be like: ‘I can help you and it’s ok.’ I experience it, I’m very normal, I understand you, I can connect with you…”
I’m so proud of my darling @KendallJenner for being so brave and vulnerable. Seeing you share her most raw story in order to make a positive impact for so many people and help foster a positive dialogue is a testament to the incredible woman you’ve become. pic.twitter.com/rJUXdN2Wmq

She also wrote on Twitter that she was proud of Kendall “for being so brace and vulnerable”.
Fans were sure Jenner was going to make a revelation regarding her sexuality and orientation, but the announcement ended up being a partnership with acne brand Proactive.
In the campaign video, Jenner said, “I remember last year I was at an awards show, and I was very excited about it, I had never been before. I remember getting ready that day, getting my makeup on. I got on the carpet and I felt really good about myself—I loved my dress and my hair, and my makeup was so beautiful.”
She said going online later, she saw “all the horrible things people were saying about me and my skin. I felt so good that I completely forgot that I had bad skin.”
She added, “Then I remember getting a couple tweets that became a lot of tweets of how proud people were of me. I was like, ‘Oh wait, this is actually kind of cool.’ And it completely flipped my energy on it.”
She ended the story by revealing that even though she does not let acne ruin her life or self confidence, she wants it gone, and ProActive is helping her do this.

Jenner has often been open about her troubles with skin. In a letter to a fan, the supermodel said, “I had such bad acne when I was younger. It completely ruined my self-esteem – I wouldn’t even look at people when I talked to them. I felt like such an outcast; when I spoke, it was with my hand covering my face.”
According to the NHS, around 80% of teenagers have acne. Fans were therefore shocked at Jenner making her acne struggles such a huge issue and having such a buzzkill announcement.
They took to Twitter to say so in a number of hilarious tweets.
Kendall also consults Dr Christie Kidd and goes to Laser Genesis to keep her skin in shape.
