Keeping Up with the People’s Choice Awards: the sisters and Momager Kris Jenner had an amazing night at the 2018 PCA’s, with massive wins and challenges from other nominees.
Reality TV’s royal family won the award for The Reality TV Show of 2018 at the People’s Choice Awards, and they took the stage to create awareness about the fires raging in California and the plight of firemen.
Kim said, “It’s been a really rough week in our home in Calabasas, Hidden Hills, and our neighbors in Thousand Oaks and Malibu.” The Woolsey fire burned Caitlyn Jenner’s home to the ground, and almost took Kourtney and Kim’s mansions as well.
She added, “Our hearts are broken from the horrific shootings and those who have lost their lives and homes as well as the hundreds of thousands of us that have been evacuated from the devastating fires that are currently burning.”
She also said she was impressed by the “resilient spirit” of those involved and “the heroism of those risking their lives on the front lines.”
She reminded the audience, “Action is necessary. So anything that we can do to help, as simple as donating to the many organizations that are collecting supplies, no form of help is too small.”
Dedicating her family’s award to those that had helped save her home, she said, “This is such an honor, and we would like to dedicate this win to all of the firefighters, the law enforcement, and the first responders. We really truly appreciate what you have done for all of us, so please let’s continue to pray for everyone’s safety.”
The Kardashian-Jenner family was presented their award by Chrissy Teigen, who wore a shimmering dress as she strutted out on the stage. She joked, “That was my VS walk. Kendall did I do okay?”
While calling out the names of the finalists, the Cravings author also joked, “I feel like I know some of you guys! Well, I do know some of you guys actually! Hi Kris, Kim, Kendall, Khloe, Kourtney; you’re all here!”
In addition to her show being nominated, Khloe was also individually nominated for Reality TV Star of 2018 after the new mom bared her tumultuous relationship with Tristan Thompson and birthing experiences on Season 15 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Khloe took home the award, looking stunning on stage in a strapless gown with her signature hoops and half up, half down hair. Sister Kim also stunned at the event in a see-through, striped dress which emphasized her curves. She paired the look with white heels and see-through white tights.
The Kardashian-Jenner family were challenged to a wrestling match by Khloe’s competition in the Reality TV Star of 2018 category, Nikki Bella.
Nikki and her twin sister Brie were asked by E! who their dream wrestling match would be and said, “I honestly think what would be really good is the Kardashians! Sisters versus sisters!”
Brie added, “The Kardashians versus the Bella twins. I think that’s a good match.” The sisters looked extremely glamorous at the event with Nikki rocking a red Dundas gown and Brie in a black and white jumpsuit by Self Portrait.
The new episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians aired Sunday night.
