Kate Beckinsale is the self-proclaimed keyboard champion: the actress hit back at comments about her relationship with Pete Davidson yet again.
Ever since Beckinsale and Davidson were seen leaving a comedy show of his together, the actress has been bombarded on social media with questions about the SNL star. She has handled them without directly answering any queries so far.
On Saturday, the actress posted a picture of herself on Instagram where she was posing in front of a portrait of Queen‘s lead singer Freddie Mercury taken by Neal Preston. She captioned it, “Trying to look like someone who was not wildly over excited about this picture or startled while planning a sneaky lick of Freddie’s eyeball.” A number of people took to the comments to ask about the nature of her relationship with Pete Davidson despite the fact that the picture she uploaded had nothing to do with the comedian. One comment said, “Is that a painting of Pete Davidson?” to which Beckinsale replied, “GREAT EYE.”
Just a little while ago, someone commented under a picture Beckinsale posted of her mother, writing, “Dear heavens, Kate. Not Pete Davidson.” Beckinsale commented underneath saying “No, that’s my mother. Easy mistake.”
A source told E! about the two’s relationship, saying that Beckinsale thinks Davidson is “funny and charming,” but “it’s definitely not anything intense”. The source added, “They may seem like an unlikely match but she thinks he’s great and she just loves all the laughs she has with him.”
Another source said, “Kate likes dating younger guys and having fun with it. She’s very youthful and young at heart so it works for her. It’s easy and less pressure dating someone young who isn’t looking for a serious commitment.”
Neither Pete nor Kate have officially talked about their relationship.
