Kaley Cuoco is the new Harley Quinn; actress to join the DC Universe after The Big Bang Theory

The star has already booked her new gig as The Big Bang Theory comes to an end

The new Harley Quinn animated TV series will launch on DC Universe streaming service, which came out last month in the US and Canada.  

Kaley Cuoco will not only voice the character of Harley Quinn but also executive produce the series. She made a surprise appearance at the New York Comic Con 2018 and revealed details and trailer for the upcoming show.

The show will include many notable villains from the Batman universe. Kaley said, “This show is kind of a very cool, modern take on Harley Quinn.”

In the show, Harley breaks up with clown prince of crime and set out take over the world herself. The animated series is expected to be Adult Comedy and takes place in the Gotham City. Lake Bell (No Strings Attached) will play her best friend Poison Ivy.

On the ending of The Big Bang Theory, she took to Instagram and said:

“This ride has been a dream come true and as life changing as it gets. No matter when it was going to end , my heart would have always been broken in two. Drowning in tears, we promise to bring you the best season yet. To the fans, our crew, families, Chuck Lorre, Warner Brothers , CBS, and everyone who has supported us for so many years, thank you. We are goin out with a bang 💫.”

The last season of The Big Bang Theory is currently underway.

With the TITANS launching on 12th October on DC Universe Streaming service, you can expect Harly Quinn animated series to come out somewhere in 2019. There is no fixed date announced yet.
