Justin Bieber punched a man who held a woman up against the wall by her throat at a Coachella party 2018, reports claimed.
The brawl took place at a party hosted by Maria Shriver and Patrick Schwarzenegger, the elder son of Arnold Schwarzenegger, on Saturday April 14.
According to TMZ, eyewitnesses reported that the unidentified man and woman were in a relationship. The man, who was apparently under the influence of drugs when he arrived, saw the woman and immediately went ballistic. He grabbed her by the throat and would not let go despite her insistence. At this point, Bieber and a friend of his tried to interject verbally and get the man to stop, but he would not listen.
According to those present at the scene, it was at this point that Bieber punched the man and held him up against the wall, allowing the woman to escape from his chokehold.
Sources later claimed that the man was seen outside the party, screaming at an SUV that Bieber was probably sitting in. The man was shouting the singer’s name and was seen hitting the vehicle repeatedly. The police later arrived to stop the man from his erratic behavior.
Aside from this scuffle, Bieber had a very tame weekend. The 24-year-old singer was seen dancing and enjoying his time at Coachella. He stayed with a group of his male friends, and seemed particularly excited at the surprise performance of Mason Ramsey, better known as the Walmart Yodel Kid.
This is not the first time the singer has gotten into trouble with the police, though this may be the first time he seems to be on the right side. In 2014, he was charged with a grafitti crime when he and his friends spray-painted a cultural-heritage site in Brazil. However, no charges were placed because Bieber left the country shortly afterwards, and the case was then suspended.
The Sorry singer was also charged with underage drinking in 2014. He was arrested in Miami for driving under the influence of alcohol with an expired license and resisting arrest.

This time, however, Justin is on the right side and fans are praising him for taking a stand against what appeared to be an abusive relationship.
