Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin got engaged after a whirlwind relationship a few months ago. Reports are now suggesting that the couple might be married.
On Friday, a source told E! that the couple got legally married at the New York City courthouse’s marriage bureau, just two months after their engagement. The source said, “They didn’t tell anyone they were doing it. They are doing a separate ceremony out of the country with a few family members soon as well.”
TMZ also reported that the couple were seen near the courthouse, and that Bieber was seen crying and saying to Baldwin, “I can’t wait to marry you, baby.”
Another source told People that the young couple “went ahead and did it without listening to anyone”. The source also added that a religious source confirmed that the two got legally married at the courthouse. The two will reportedly also have a religious ceremony and celebrate with their family and friends soon.
The source said, “They’re going to have a big blowout, in front of God and everyone they love.”
This sudden wedding is not what Baldwin previously reported she planned. She told The Cut that she had hired a wedding planner for a wedding on the West Coast. She said, “I just picture lights strung everywhere. I think having it in the woods would be so beautiful.”
Baldwin also revealed that she has already picked out the designer for her wedding dress and that her sister Alaia Baldwin will be her bridesmaid.
Bieber and Baldwin got engaged in July during the Bahamas.
