The Jonas Brothers are back with the promise of new music dropping tonight, and fans on social media have completely lost their cool.
26-year-old Nick, 29-year-old Joe and 31-year-old Kevin have reunited and are releasing music as The Jonas Brothers for the first time in over five years. The track, which is titled Sucker, will drop on Friday at midnight, after which the brothers will take over The Late Late Show With James Cordon for a whole week, discussing their reunion, doing Carpool Karaoke and performing their new song live.
In a new promo for Carpool Karaoke, Nick told host James Cordon, “It’s nice to be able to finally tell somebody. We’ve kept this a secret now for almost seven, eight months. This is basically our first performance back”. Kevin added, “I’ve gotta dust off the cobwebs, here we go.”

After splitting up in 2013 to prioritize family, Nick went on to become a solo artist, Joe joined the band called DNCE and Kevin deviated from music to join real estate development and the construction business.
A source had previously told PEOPLE that the brothers had a meeting regarding their reunion at the Polo Lounge at The Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles earlier this month, but these rumors were not confirmed.
Rumors about a reunion can also be dated back to January 2018 when the Jonas Brothers’ Instagram account was reactivated five years after having gone down. Nick told Ryan Seacrest later that year, “I guess our Instagram was restarted. Right now there’s no reunion planned. But never say never — you never know what’s going to happen.”
The Jonas Brothers last released the single First Time in June 2013.
