Johnny Depp was being abused by Amber Heard all along according to definitive court documents and photographs.
After Depp and Heard split in 2016, the latter claimed that the 55-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean actor abused her and physically assaulted her. Depp then filed a $50 million defamation suit against the actress. The two subsequently fell into a bitter legal battle.
In documents and photographs obtained by The Blast, Johnny Depp has been cleared of all counts of abuse and mistreatment against Amber Heard. It has been revealed that she, in fact, was the abusive one in their relationship all along. The released photographs show Depp with a severed finger a month after the couple was wed in 2015, and documents state Amber “shattered the bones in the tip of Mr. Depp’s right middle finger, almost completely cutting it off.”
The Blast also reported that Depp claimed that in April after he was “late for Heard’s 30th birthday dinner”, she got “upset and began criticizing him”. Then she became “aggressive and violent, punching him twice in the face.”
After the true story spread, fans on Twitter rushed to apologize to Depp for how they spoke up against him after Heard’s abuse allegations first came out. A source close to Depp told HollywoodLife, “Johnny is overwhelmed by all the love and support he’s receiving from fans on Twitter. He is finally feeling vindicated after years of looking like the ‘bad guy’ and not believing his side of the story. Johnny never wanted to put Amber in a position to look like the aggressor, but he finally had enough and needed to reveal his truth. The fact that fans are now beginning to believe his account of what happened feels incredible and he’s more determined than ever to continue fighting for justice and redeem his reputation.”
Depp’s lawyers have not yet commented on the news.
