Back in 2018, the Without Me singer revealed her battled with endometriosis on a television show The Doctors. Halsey had collapsed during a concert and was taken to the hospital. She said, “My tour manager had to take me to a hospital and the whole time I was there no one knew what to tell me. Dehydration, stress, anxiety, and I was saying, “What about my pain?” A lot of the time they can make you think it’s in your head.”

Halsey recently tweeted about her illness. She said, “I’m a pretty competent individual. But I’m a whole entire idiot when I’m sick. You don’t understand the true meaning of “im baby” till u see this shit. I need to retire from life.”

The singer also joked about the entire thing by saying, “Me: sick

someone: omgyourealwayssick!!!

me, with a chronic illness, staring into the camera like I’m on The Office.’

Fans were quick to support her. However, one person called her “quirky” to which she replied, “I have endometriosis. I’ve had 3 miscarriages, 4 surgeries, pretty much in pain every day of my life, and I’ve donated/raised upwards of 300,000$ in the name of research and support. I’m not trying to be quirky. Or different. I’m just trying to normalize an underdiscussed illness”.

She deleted her response after a while.
