Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuck got married on Saturday in an intimate ceremony in the Hamptons. The couple got engaged in January.
The wedding was in the yard of a private home in the Hamptons. It was attended by family and friends including Robert Downey Jr., Cameron Diaz, Steven Spielberg and Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld.
The Seinfelds also threw the couple a rehearsal dinner in their home on Friday, which was attended by about 75 people. Back in April, Paltrow celebrated with her friends during a bachelorette trip to Los Cabos.
The Goop Founder met the Glee co-creator in 2010 when Paltrow appeared on Glee. At the time, she was married to Coldplay‘s Chris Martin. The couple were first linked together in 2014 after she split from Martin. They went public with their relationship in 2015, after attending Robert Downey Jr’s 50th birthday together.
They announced their engagement in January in an issue of Goop. Paltrow also talked about why she was choosing to get into another marriage, saying:
“Personally, at midlife, I have tried to accept how complex romantic love can be. I have decided to give it a go again, not only because I believe I have found the man I was meant to be with, but because I have accepted the soul-stretching, pattern-breaking opportunities that (terrifyingly) are made possible by intimacy.”
The couple also told ABC’s Good Morning America, “We feel incredibly lucky to have come together at this juncture in our lives, when our collective successes and failures can serve as building blocks for a healthy and happy relationship .”
Paltrow and Chris Martin ‘consciously uncoupled’ in 2014 after ten years of marriage, and finalized their divorce in 2016. The two have 14-year-old daughter Apple and 12-year-old son Moses together. Falchuck was also married before to Suzanne Bukinik for ten years, and they parted ways in 2013. They also have two kids together.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuck have a pre-nup.
