Sophie Turner, the famous Sansa Stark character from Game of Thrones, just got her self a full-on Game of Thrones tattoo on her arm.
Sophie got the main Games of Thrones image inked on the backside of her upper forearm from Lauren Winzer’s Hunter and Fox Tattoo. Underneath the image, she got text inked as well. It says, “The pack survives.”
This was part of the full sentence that Ned Stark and Sansa Stark say in the series; “When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives.”
Ever since she revealed the tattoo, fans have been going crazy about it. They are wondering whether the line could be a potential spoiler for the new season releasing in 2019. As the eighth and last season of the series is being produced and filmed, fans wonder whether ‘the pack survives’ is hinting at whether the remaining ‘pack’ of Starks (Sansa, Arya and Bran) will survive will the end of the show.
The English actress has gotten multiple Games of Thrones tattoos over the years. In 2016, Sophie and co-star Maisie Williams got tattoos of the dates that they were cast in the show. The tattoos said “07.08.09” in peach color on their arms.
At another instance, Sophie was on holiday in Sydney, Australia to meet with Joe Jonas, her fiancé. While in Sydney, both of them decided to get inked. While Sophie opted for one related to her show, Joe got three inkings, two of cartoon characters and one of a singer.
He chose Mario, Spongebob Squarepants and Freddie Mercury. Mario was jumping in happiness, Spongebob Squarepants was holding and singing into the microphone, while Freddie Mercury’s was just a line portrait.
Lauren posted pictures of both their tattoos on her Instagram page; she was delighted that the two stars had gotten the tattoos from her.
She captioned the photos:
“First tattoo back home! Thank you so much for getting this from me [Sophie]!”
“Thank you so much for getting these off me [Joe]! So stoked to tattoo some of my favs on you! Thank you again!”
