Game of Thrones fans can receive grief counseling after its series finale. The series has ended after eight seasons.
Game of Thrones has finally ended after eight seasons, with fans feeling disappointed with the ending. Fans had been coming up with bizarre theories about who would end up on the Iron Throne and the finale ended with the role of King falling onto Bran Stark, the Three-eyed Raven. The Iron Throne was melted by Drogon, Sansa became Queen in the North, Jon Snow was sent to the Night’s Watch after he killed Daenerys Targaryen.
Bark.com, a UK based company is offering a specialized service for Game of Thrones fans after the emotional series finale. Their front page reads, “Are you distraught by the thought of Game of Thrones ending? We’ve launched a specialized Game of Thrones counseling service to help bereft fans seek support and get the help they need through this tough time.”
The service is described as, “The professionals will help them digest their feelings and interpretation of the show, which could range from anger and confusion to sadness and grief. Most importantly the counselors will be on hand to guide fans on how to move on after almost a decade of fandom.”
The website allows you to choose the subject you need counseling for, like ‘Cleganebowl, dealing with GOT loss, discussing plot twists and dealing with David Benioff & Daniel Weiss’s writing decisions, etc.’
Counseling is being offered through Skype, on call or even face to face. This service will cost fans only about $25 for 30 minutes and $50 for a full hour.
Disappointed fans have also petitioned for a remake of Season 8. More than a million people have already signed the petition.
