Demi Lovato writes a thank you note to her fans after postponing her show hours before she was due to appear on stage

Demi Lovato recently posted on Instagram informing fans that she had to postpone the concert, at the O2 Arena in London, because she was ill and had swollen vocal cords.

The singer apologized to her fans and stated, “I write this through tears of frustration and sadness that I have to postpone my concert in London at the O2 tonight due to being very, very sick and with swollen vocal chords that were examined by an ENT (dr.).

“If I go on tonight and injure my vocal chords any more I could potentially have to cancel the rest of my tour.

“I’m so so sorry to disappoint any of my fans in London that have traveled hours to be here by plane or car, and to all of the fans that got these tickets for their birthday, holiday or any other special occasion.

“It breaks my heart to let you down. Juts know I feel your frustration and I wouldn’t do his unless I absolutely had to.

“For everyone who bought a ticket to tonight’s show, I will see you for the rescheduled date on June 25th after Madrid and Rock in Rio.

“Thank you for understanding. I love you.”

The singer also took to her Instagram stories to further explain the situation to her fans. She revealed, “I can’t do the show tonight because I have no voice.”

Fans have been super-supportive of the singer’s decision to postpone her show. They took to Twitter to share their concerns about their favorite singer and also wished her to get well soon.

Meanwhile, The Lovatics truly showed how passionate and loyal they really are when they came out on London streets to sing her hit song, Skyscraper, while sending their best wishes to the unwell singer.

Demi’s fans have always stood by her side. It just goes to show you how passionate and dedicated they all are. She did not overlook her fans immense love and support, and took to Twitter to thank them for always being there for her.

She said, “My fans are seriously the best…I can’t believe how much love and support I’ve received today.. the video of my fans singing skyscraper outside of the venue made me cry”

Some fans also outlined Demi’s song titles on a poem written by @allontheboard, outside the O2 Arena London, where the concert was set to take place.

During Demi’s time at rehab, her fans were the ones who kept her strong throughout the period. To honor their support, the singer even tattooed the words ‘stay strong’ on the inside of her wrists.

The concert will now set place on June 25, Monday and all tickets will remain valid for the new date, announced concert producer, Live Nation.
