Earlier this week, Chris Pratt and Anna Faris reunited a year after their divorce for a lovely family walk.

Pratt, 39, and Anna, 41, split up in August 2017, after eight years of being married. The pair, however, remain on cordial terms to co-parent their 6 year old son, Jack. Sources close to the couple have now revealed how the two have set aside their differences for their son.

As revealed by a source close to the couple, Anna and Chris have managed to keep their differences aside to ‘do what’s best for Jack’. Their son is their priority, and their reunion resembles an action union between the two, as they were seen chatting with each other, while holding onto each of their son’s hands.

“Anna and Chris are on good terms. They both have moved on and are happy in their new lives,” the source said to E! News.

Anna and Chris do not just get together with their son to take lovely walks, but also come together to engage in several activities revolving around Jack. Amongst the many responsibilities which co-parenting entails, coming together to prepare Jack for his school is one which the couple does quite ardently.

The two of them were seen attending Jack Pratt’s school orientation, as “they both wanted to be there for him and help him get started and settled,” shared a source. The two remain ‘amenable, understanding and open-minded’ when it comes to any slight changes in the co-parenting schedule drafted by the couple.

The two have mutual respect for each other, too. They have handled the news them moving on in their respective love lives in a healthy manner. They have also attempted to establish a healthy link between their new partners and their son.

Anna has been seen hanging out with the cinematographer, Michael Barret, who is reportedly her boyfriend now. The Anna Faris is Unqualifed host familiarized her son, Jack, with Michael ‘very early on’.

While Anna has moved on with Michael, Pratt, too has been linked with Katherine Schwarzenegger – the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shiver. The duo has been spotted hanging out quite frequently.

According to a source which has seen the couple together, “Katherine is really into him, and you can tell. They aren’t trying to hide anything. It looks like they’re really enjoying each other’s company.”

The duo has not let their love lives get conflated with their mutual love for Jack, and have picked partners who appreciate and love their kid. Their son is not excluded from their dating lives, as their new partners have become pretty fond of the 6 year old quite early on.

As revealed by a source to E! News, “Luckily they are both dating people who love Jack and are very good with kids. Jack is going to be a big part of their lives and they wouldn’t date anyone that didn’t accept that.”

Anna and Chris have not just shown their love for Jack, by hanging out with him together despite their separation, but have also been vocal about it.

After announcing their split in August, 2017, Faris took to Twitter to declare that while their marriage had run its course, their love for Jack, will never be compromised on.

“Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still love each other and will always cherish our time together,” she tweeted.

Pratt, too, has been vocal about his feelings towards the divorce, as he expressed how he felt about the separation earlier this year. In his interview with Entertainment Weekly as part of their Summer Movie Preview, Chris stated, “Divorce sucks.”

“But at the end of the day, we’ve got a great kid who’s got two parents who love him very much. And we’re finding a way to navigate this while still remaining friends and still being kind to one another. It’s not ideal, but yeah, I think both of us are actually probably doing better,” he further shared.

Anna, too, previously shared with SiriusXM’s Hits 1 in Hollywood, “We have a great friendship, we really do and we always have. “And it’s always tough to envision your future as one thing, but I think there is a lot of love.”
