Ben Affleck was driven to rehab by his ex-wife Jennifer Garner just three weeks ago. Before going, the actor broke up with producer Lindsay Shookus and was seen out and about with Playboy model Shauna Sexton. Since going to rehab, Affleck has been out and about very few times.

He’s been seen working out with his coach and therapist outside the facility. Sexton has also been spotted visiting Affleck in the facility.

Casey talked to E! at the Toronto International Film Festival where he was attending the premiere of The Old Man & The Gun. He said, “He’s an alcoholic and he’s in rehab. He’s recovering and I think it’s very brave of him to take care of what he needs to take care of. He’s handling his business and getting better. I look forward to him being out and back on his feet.”

Casey has previously shared his own experiences with addiction and sobriety as well. The Manchester by the Sea actor sat down last year on WTF with Marc Maron last year and said, “It’s just so many times, going to these meetings and sitting in circles, and talking about it all, so when it came time, when I realized that I had to stop, I felt like I had already put in all that time, so I just kind of white-knuckled it at home and imagined myself in a circle. It worked.
