Bella Hadid and The Weeknd are back in the air after their Tokyo vacation. The couple recently got back together exclusively after breaking up 2 years ago.
Hadid dated The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel, from 2015 to November 2016. They broke up after being together just over a year. While The Weeknd dated Selena Gomez in his time apart from Hadid, she did not date any guy exclusively. After Abel split from Gomez in October 2017, he was seen kissing Hadid at a Cannes Film Festival Party in May of this year.
Since then, the two have been seen together in Paris as well, but have not commented on their reconciled relationship. After the couple posted about each other on a trip in Tokyo, reports suggested that the couple are exclusively back together. A source told E! that, “exclusively dating and are in a great place. Abel realized once he started dating around, that he actually is still in love with Bella, and they reconnected.”
Hadid posted a shadowy picture recently of The Weeknd getting into a parked SUV with the caption, “Sugar.” The supermodel also posted a picture of herself in a graphic tee and a set of chains. The interior behind her gave away that she was on a private jet.
Confirming that the two were taking a trip together, The Weeknd posted a picture of Hadid posing in front of a sunset, with a plane in the background. He captioned it, “So sweet.” Bella later posted a colored version of the same photograph.
Last week, Bella posted a video of The Weeknd in a room filled with lights. She captioned it, “Muse forever.” She also posted a picture of him descending a spiral staircase in what looked like an apartment. According to E!, “Things have been going really well. They have been inseparable and have been truly working with each other’s schedules to make it work.”
The source also said that the couple reconnected and have worked out because “they have a lot of the same friends and their lifestyles really work for them. They both love to see new places and have new experiences and definitely share that commonality.”
The source added that the reconciliation was inevitable, because the two had always had an exceptional bond, “Everyone around them always knew it was a matter of time, and knew the undeniable bond that they had when they were together. They always drifted back in the same places so it was a matter of time before they decided to commit to each other again.”
It is currently unclear where Bella Hadid and The Weeknd are travelling to.
