Grande broke up with her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller at the start of May. In just a few days, her relationship with SNL’s Pete Davidson became public news. Soon, the two were commenting all over each other’s social media and posting cute pictures showcasing their bond. On 12th June, news broke of the couple’s engagement. Since then, the two have also added to their collection of tattoos dedicated to each other and reportedly moved in together.

Ariana took to Twitter herself to respond to a fan that passed her relationship off as a joke. The fan in question addressed the song called ‘Pete’ on Grande’s new album. The song is an obvious dedication to her fiance. The fan wrote, “Girl we know you love him but you are dumb.”

Grande replied telling her fans that after all her experiences, she felt that life was too short to be ‘cryptic’ about her new amazing relationship.

Spectators of this romance have a lot to say about the speed at which the two are moving. Many are saying this is a publicity stunt to amp up the sales of Ariana’s new album, others are saying the relationship is for Davidson’s publicity.

Fans loved the subtle clapback Grande delivered to the judgmental fan. They tweeted their thoughts about the smooth replies.

Grande’s engagement ring is a 3.03 carat diamond set in platinum. It cost Davidson about $93,000 and was designed by Mr. Flawless. Davidson commissioned the ring at the start of May, just days after meeting Grande.
