After a whirlwind romance and fast engagement in June, Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have reportedly split up due to ‘bad timing’.
A source told TMZ that the two split this weekend. Both of them felt that while they love each other intensely, right now is not the right time for their relationship. The source also said that the couple might reconnect in the future once again, and have not ruled anything out.
Another source told PEOPLE: “It was way too much too soon. It’s not shocking to anyone.”
All of Grande’s photos of Davidson are still up on her social media, but his accounts are not active anymore.
Fans suspected that there was trouble in paradise after Davidson’s bunny ears tattoo that he dedicated to Grande was seen covered up with a heart during an episode of Saturday Night Live last week.

Davidson and Grande confirmed that they were engaged in June of this year, after just a few weeks of dating. They initially met when Grande hosted SNL back in 2014, and got together after she broke up with rapper Mac Miller.
Miller passed away at the start of September due to a suspected drug overdose, and Grande took several weeks of downtime following the event.
Shortly after getting engaged to Grande, Davidson told GQ that he was “the luckiest guy in the world.”
He added, “The day I met her, I was like, ‘Hey, I’ll marry you tomorrow.’ She was calling my bluff. I sent her a picture [of engagement rings]. I was like, ‘Do you like any of these?’ She was like, ‘Those are my favorite ones,’ and I was like, ‘Sick.’ ” The couple also purchased a home in Manchester together after their engagement.
Neither Grande nor Davidson have officially commented on this news.
