Tyga was seen out and about on his new Bugatti on Friday, while an impending lawsuit for non-payment of rent hangs over his head.
The rapper was filmed by passers by on the 101 Freeway in LA in a new orange Bugatti, and was apparently texting while he was driving.
Tyga, whose real name is Michael Ray Stevenson, has a penchant for cars, and is known for having gifted ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner a $320,000 Ferrari 482 Italia, and a Mercedes-Benz Maybach.
His new purchase, however, comes as a surprise because Tyga is currently facing a lawsuit from Simon Cowell’s ex-fiance, Mezhgan Hussainy, for non-payment of rent.
The rapper moved into Hussainy’s Beverly Hills home in March 2017, and rents it for $40,000 a month. He has apparently fallen behind on payments since January 2018 and is being sued by the owner. Hussainy is looking to evict the rapper and get rent for the months it went unpaid.
Tyga’s five year old son, King Cairo, is technically the one being sued, because his name was on the lease.
Tyga had King Cairo with Blac Chyna, who is now also the mother of Dream Kardashian, Rob Kardashian’s daughter.
Rob is Kylie Jenner’s half-brother: they are both Kris Jenner’s children, though Rob’s father is Kris’s first husband, Robert Kardashian, and Kylie’s father is the Olympic gold-medalist, Caitlyn Jenner.
Kylie and Tyga were together for a year and a half, though most people speculate the rapper was with the makeup mogul before her 18th birthday, which means their relationship lasted for much longer.
Tyga’s landlord, Hussainy, was engaged to Simon Cowell, 58, from 2010 to 2011. They met when she was hired as a makeup artist on American Idol, were he was a judge.
After they got engaged in 2010, Hussainy moved into Cowell’s Beverly Hills home. After the dissolution of their engagement, he transferred ownership of the house to Hussainy.
