Taylor Swift made a sweet gesture as she sent a bunch of flowers to a female cop, who was shot amid the Las Vegas’ shooting on Sunday night, which left at least 59 people dead.
The 27-year-old singer sent the flowers at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Community Police Station in Pacoima to LAPD intel analyst, Kimberlee Binder on Monday morning.
Officer Kimberlee, who was shot in the knee, was overwhelmed and thanked the “Look What You Made Me do” singer for the kind gesture.
“Talk about a class act! @taylorswift sent multiple bouquets of flowers and plants to our station, as one of our officers was shot in Las Vegas last night. Beautiful flowers can bring a smile to anyone’s face. Much respect.”, Binder wrote along with a photo of a multicolored arrangement of roses, sunflowers, and daisies.
The LAPD confirmed one of their own was injured in the shooting, sharing a press release on social media and expressing gratitude for public concern.
“Thank you to all who have called and experienced concerns of our Foothill Female Officer. She is stable and doing well. We wish everyone who remains in Las Vegas and in attendance safe returns”, the LAPD confirmed on Monday on Facebook and Twitter.
Just like the rest of the world, Taylor Swift was hit hard by the dreadful news and instantly tweeted her heart out.
She wrote: “There are no words to express the helplessness and sorrow my broken heart feels for the victims in Vegas and their families.”
According to recent reports, the death toll is at 59 and 527 wounded have been confirmed in the deadliest mass shooting in US history.
The shooter, 64 year-old Stephen Paddock, opened fire on the 22,000-man swarm at the Route 91 Harvest Festival from his 32nd-story hotel room at the Mandalay Bay casino over the road.
Today, photographs of two of the 23 rifles found inside Las Vegas shooter’s hotel room have been developed.
Lately, Swift has let flowers do the talking, as she’s warming up for the release of her new album “Reputation” in November.
Swift sent flowers to Victoria Arlen from “Dancing with the Stars” after her performance set to the pop star’s new single. Cardi B also received a bouquet when she knocked Swift off the top of the charts with her summer smash “Bodak Yellow”.
