Westlife is an Irish boy band that was formed in 1988 in Dublin.
The band eventually fell apart in 2012. The band was initially signed by Simon Cowell and managed by Louis Walsh.
Westlife’s music consisted of genres ranging from pop, pop rock, blue-eyed soul and classical crossover.
The boy band consisted of Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Shane Filan. Brian McFadden was also a member of the boyband until his exit from the band in March 2004.
Westlife was at a point in time, the most popular boy band to exist with fans crazy after them.
Westlife sold over 50 million records worldwide, which included studio albums, singles, video releases and compilation albums.
The popular group had 14 number one singles in the United Kingdom. WOW!

Louis Walsh former band manager, age sixty-five, has announced that the band with “definitely” going to get together.
While he confirms it’s going to happen, he could not explicitly state a date as to when the reunion will take place.
Louis told RSVP Live magazine that “A Westlife reunion is definitely going to happen, but I have no idea when.”
Louis Walsh claims that he still is on good terms with the members of the band.
He says, “I’m still really good friends with all of the lads.” He continued to say “I think the reunion will be great, but it’s up to them to decide when they will do it.”
Speaking about Mark Feehily, he stated, “I was chatting to Mark Feehily last night about the Christmas album he’s bringing out, and it’s amazing. I’d forgotten how talented he is.”
The news has made fans go wild all around the world! Fans have been waiting for six years for the band to get back together.
There have been some speculations in the media about when the band should get together, and according to popular opinion, the 2018 Croke Park Festival seems to be the perfect time for the gang to come together.
Westlife in their prime time achieved a total of 26 UK top ten singles in 14 years of their extremely successful career.
In 2012, the Official Charts Company listed Westlife 34th amongst the biggest-selling singles artists in British music history.
