The first movie of Marvel’s Deadpool was well appreciated and liked all over the globe, earning a whopping $260 million. Well, Marvel enthusiasts will be glad to know that Deadpool 2 is going coming to theaters soon and fans expect it to be even funnier than ever!
In the meantime, fans can enjoy the new trailer for Deadpool 2, which has recently been released!
Fans will be even more thrilled to know that the movie, which was supposed to be released on June 1, is now being released on May 18!
The trailer for the much-awaited movie begins with the introduction of the character Cable from X-Men. Cable is a soldier from the future, and is portrayed by Josh Brolin.
The trailer starts with Cable narrating, “I was born into war, bred into it. People think they understand pain, but they have no concept of it. What’s the most pain you’ve ever felt? Maybe the kind that leaves you more, machine than man.”
Interestingly, the trailer also takes a little dig at its arch-rival, DC Comics. In the short 2 minute and 10 seconds trailer, Deadpool breaks the fourth wall to let the audience in on the unfinished after-effects in the movie.
Cable, who is supposed to have a robotic arm, is left with a green arm showing unfinished video editing. Deadpool says, “What in the actual a**? Dale! Why are the visual effects not done? It’s a metal arm! It’s not like we’re trying to remove a mustache!”
The joke was made in reference to expensive reshoots conducted in order to digitally remove Henry Cavill’s mustache in the Superman movie. Since he was in the process of shooting for Mission Impossible 6 at the time, he wasn’t allowed to shave it off!
Fans on Twitter thoroughly enjoyed the joke directed at the makers of Superman!
Film reporter, Beatrice Verhoeven, tweeted, “BAHAHA @VancityReynolds’ #Deadpool takes a shot at the Justice League” reshoot issue over Henry Cavill’s facial hair as Clark Kent/Superman while talking about Cable: “Why are the visual effects not done? It’s a metal arm! It’s not like we’re trying to remove a mustache!”
Another one enthusiastically said, “DEADPOOL JUST MADE FUN OF SUPERMAN’s CG MUSTACHE I’M F**KING DONE. IT’S DONE. DEADPOOL>>>>>>>>>>>>”
The trailer then proceeds with Deadpool diverting the audience’s attention to a toy fight between Deadpool and Cable while the CGI team finishes the after effects. At the end of the scene, he says, “Is it done already? Oh well, that was unrealistically fast! okay, hit it!”
Ryan Renolds, who famously portrays the character of Deadpool, took to Twitter to promote his new movie. He uploaded the trailer and wrote, “Here’s a little hit of PCP. #PremiumCablePackage #Deadpool #Cable.”

Fans also expressed their excitement on Twitter.
One fan wrote, “My birthday is May 10th I love my late birthday present.”
Another wrote, “The coolest adult comic star returns and personally I can’t wait as the first one was a riot. Let’s hope it doesn’t repeat the pitfalls of so many sequels/follow-ups and make us laugh till it hurts!!”
Another expressed his excitement, saying, “Can’t wait!! No one could ever be a better Deadpool no one!!”
Who’s looking forward to the 18th of May, 2018?
