His die-hard fans have even created a website called Keanu Is Immortal, where they show evidence to support that the actor is, in fact, here to stay forever – and that he has been alive for hundreds of years!

Let’s shed light on the fan-found ‘evidence’ that supports this hypothesis.

1. Keanu Reeves just doesn’t age!

First off, Keanu Reeves has not seemed to age a day since he joined Hollywood for the first time.

His first major appearance was in a drama film called River’s Edge in 1986. He then went on to do a commercially successful comedy movie called Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure in 1989.

The actor still looks as young, fit and absolutely drop dead gorgeous as he was when he first started out as an actor. This is highly unusual, as the actor is now 53 years old, and doesn’t look a day over 30.

2. He has been spotted in historical photos

Secondly, Keanu’s physical characteristics uncannily resemble famous personalities from previous centuries. He is the spitting image of an actor from the 19th century, called Paul Mounet.

Mounet was a French actor who lived from 1847- 1992.

Keanu appeared on the Jimmy Fallon show where Jimmy showed him a picture of Paul Mounet and Keanu concurred that he resembled the actor. Keanue said, “Yeah we have the same forehead and eyebrows.”

Keanu Reeves loyalists are completely onboard with a theory that supports the existence of the actor for eternity. Fans on Twitter have decided to embrace the “Keanu is immortal” theory and wish and hope to see Keanu Reeves entertain them in this life and possibly even in life after death.

3. He has maintained the same look over ‘centuries’

Second off, fans also believe that since he has been present since time immemorial and is here to stay for many more years to come, the beloved actor does not mould his fashion according to changing times.

Keanu has always stuck around with a simple and chic black blazer and a t-shirt look and manages to look sexier than ever everytime he makes an appearance.

Interestingly, this is not a theory that a handful of people go by. Executive Editor of The Tylt, Will Federman, found out that 74% of people believe the actor is immortal!

He tweeted, “A poll by @The Tylt found that, in fact, 74 percent of people think he is immortal and who am I to argue.”

Another excited fan said, “Keanu Reeves is immortal I’m convinced at this point. Dude does not age. Hair got no white hairs, his face barely changed. He probably makes himself look old to hide his identity.”
