Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are talking to each other on Twitter, and fans cannot help but wonder why they won’t just text each other.
Yesterday, Kim Kardashian tweeted out about her new obsession with the show Handmaid’s Tale. Kim wrote, “I have been binge watching Handmaid’s Tale. If I have an hour off from work I rush home to watch an episode. It’s soooo good. I’m halfway through season 2.”
A few hours ago, Kylie replied to the tweet writing, “where have u been?! ..this makes me so happy.” Kim then responded to the tweet writing, “OMG Ky, we need to discuss! I stayed up all night watching and I’m almost done! It’s so crazy, my emotions.”
Fans immediately jumped on the interaction to note that Kim and Kylie could easily have had this conversation on text. Some also speculated that the conversation was a ploy for attention. Others even speculated that the sister’s were getting paid for promoting the show. A few fans went so far as to criticize both the new moms for devoting their time and energy to a show rather than to their newborns.

Kim has been having a particularly tough week in terms of social media. The reality TV star was called out for reacting in excitement when her sister Khloe called her ‘anorexic’. Kim asked Khloe to repeat the sentiment on her Snapchat, and thanked her sister for the compliment. Fans called out the KKW Beauty owner for glorifying unhealthy weight loss and eating disorders.
Kim was then dragged after she replied to Tyson Beckford on Instagram. Beckford commented on a photo of Kim posted by The Shade Room, writing that he thought Kim’s body did not look good and that doctor’s had messed up her right hip. Kim replied to the comment saying, “Sis we all know why you don’t care for it.” Fans immediately started criticizing her for being homophobic and using sexuality as a tool to shade Beckford.
The new season of the reality TV show both Kim and Kylie star on, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, airs August 5.
