Jessie James Decker just turned 30, and could her birthday party be any cooler? The singer had a FRIENDS-themed birthday bash among her family and friends on Thursday, April 12.
The birthday girl posted a picture of herself from her big day, sitting with a FRIENDS-themed birthday cake in front of her while breastfeeding her 2 week old son, Forrest, with husband Erick Decker.
Jessie captioned the picture with a sweet message: “Thanks for all the birthday wishes! Never did I imagine I would be celebrating my 30th birthday with my newborn on the boob who wanted to feast eat at that very moment lol my family knows me way too well and threw me a ‘Friends’ intimate birthday dinner! So grateful for my family and friends and where I’m at in my life and will never take it for granted ❤️ #30.”
Going by her surprise at the decorations, it can be said that no one told her life was gonna be this way!
Jessie’s birthday decorations included place-cards with clever FRIENDS references.
‘15 Yemen Road, Yemen’ is the address Chandler Bing tells his girlfriend Janice he’s moving to when he wants to break up with her but just can’t do it.
‘Regina Falange’ is Phoebe Buffay’s alter-ego which comes out whenever the character is feeling particularly devious.
‘Miss Chanandler Bong’ is the name on the TV guide that gets delivered to Chandler and Joey’s house, which Monica and Rachel steal.
‘He’s her lobster’ is what Phoebe famously says about Ross and Rachel when they finally get together.
‘Fat Ugly Naked Guy’ is the man who lives in the apartment building opposite Monica and Rachel’s. The gang often spies on him, and Ross ends up moving into his apartment when he moves out.
Jessie’s cake was also FRIENDS themed. The three-layered contraption had the New York skyline on the bottom part, a purple middle section to signify Monica and Rachel’s apartment door with the signature golden frame and peephole, and was topped with an edible coffee cup that obviously came from Central Perk – the coffee shop the gang spent all their time in.
Her cake had “The one where Jessica turns 30” lettered on it.
The party also had a ‘cups’ theme to it. This was in reference to the time when Phoebe filled a birthday party she and Monica planned for Rachel together with cups, because Monica wouldn’t let her be in charge of anything else.
We think we can safely say this was the best FRIENDS-themed party we’ve ever come across!
