Chris Pratt spent a night in a haunted hotel room and caught proof on camera!

by Myra E.

Chris Pratt just took to Instagram to share his haunted hotel room experience with his fans! The actor posted a video of an eerily moving ceiling lamp in his room.

The Jurassic World actor was left confused and excited after witnessing what appeared to be paranormal activity, and suspecting supernatural presence in his room.

So… I think I’m stayin in a haunted hotel room! Super cool. I think this lamp is moving. But also. I think maybe I’m just trippin. You be the judge. Is this lamp messin with me? Am I messin with you? Why everybody gotta be messin with everybody when we got ghosts running around willy nilly? Don’t seem right. #newyork

Pratt was clearly confused as to why the ceiling lamp was moving without any reason. In the caption, he asked his fans to judge for themselves whether there was any paranormal activity in his New York hotel room.

“You be the judge. Is this lamp messin’ with me?” he said.

In the video, he wondered out loud whether the lamp was actually moving or if he was moving the phone – or if he was hallucinating altogether.

Pratt found it ‘super cool’ that his hotel room might be haunted but also mentioned that he might be ‘trippin’. He added in the caption, “Why everybody gotta be messin with everybody when we got ghosts running around willy nilly? Don’t seem right.”

Almost everyone on Instagram agreed that the lamp was, in fact, moving. Some fans tried to come up with plausible reasons, asking him which floor he was on to determine if it could just be ‘the building shifting in the wind’. Others thought it could be due to the air conditioning or a ‘minor earthquake’.

The video, which now has over 2 million views, also attracted comments from some of the actor’s famous friends. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson advised him to get out as soon as possible and mentioned that he knew exactly where Pratt was.

He joked that the room had ‘documented evil spirits’ that would ‘demonise’ Pratt and all his followers every time they would close their eyes in the shower. Comedian Josh Gad commented on Chris’ tweet of the same video with just two profound words, “GET OUT!!!!!”

Pratt’s Jurassic World co-star, Bryce Dallas Howard, also commented on the post. She offered the realistic explanation that it could be the upstairs neighbors walking around and then joked that those neighbors might be ghosts.
