Beyoncé’s Coachella performance made people rename the festival Beychella. But the star’s iconic performance was accompanied by a little wardrobe malfunction as well.
During her set, Beyonce had many guests up on stage. She invited her sister, Solange, her husband, Jay-Z, and the rest of Destiny’s Child for a crowd-shaking performance.
However, during Destiny’s Child medley, the Run the World singer had to keep one hand on the shoulder of her bodysuit to keep it from slipping. Because of this, she performed many of the moves for Soldier and Independent Women one-handed.
Being Beyoncé, she managed to slay despite the little hitch in her outfit, but was faced with further problems when her thigh-high boots slipped down to her ankles!
Many people commented on the fact that her designer, Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing, was going to get it.

He recently talked to Vogue about his vision for the outfits he was setting Beyoncé up with, saying, “B is a perfectionist. She has such a distinct vision for fashion and for her music, I really learned a lot from this experience and from watching her work in those rehearsals.”
“Jay saw the Egyptian goddess cape and when B put it on, his eyes went wide and he was so excited, he said, ‘Oh, wow!’ – that gave me a lot of satisfaction,” he added.
Beyoncé had a variety of outfits on stage at Coachella. Most of them followed the themes of female empowerment and Beyoncé-fierceness. She started the show in a gold Egyptian ensemble, followed by a yellow sweatshirt with jean shorts.
Beyoncé is the first black woman to headline Coachella, and she made sure to highlight that in her performances with many comments on the fact that black women need empowerment.
Her fans were extremely excited for the Destiny’s Child reunion, which last happened at the 2013 Super Bowl halftime show. They were also ecstatic at the Solange collaboration, a homage to 2014, when Solange invited Beyoncé up for a Coachella performance. She also brought Jay-Z up for a joint performance of ‘Deja Vu’.
