Asda has reportedly banned under 25 years from buying kiwifruit after Harry Styles, who is a former One Direction member, was attacked with the fruit at a concert.
Earlier this week, a kiwi was thrown onto the stage during his performance at his latest track Kiwi. Harry Style slipped on the fruit and almost fell over!

After he slipped over during a concert, he told the crowd, “You may have seen me fall earlier during this song. It appeared to be a kiwi. That was the culprit, some seedy green mush. Look there’s another- this could end up being a problem.”
After the slip, Styles took a moment to wipe the kiwi off the floor, so he didn’t risk falling again.
After this mishap, an Asda supermarket’s spokesperson announced, “We know our customers love Harry Styles and feel it’s our duty to protect a fellow Mancunian from any ‘bad kiwis’ amongst us. We’d hate to see a repeat of the mishap this evening, so to avoid any ‘slippery’ situations, we feel this is a necessary measure.”
But unfortunately, this measurement could not stop from another kiwi-related slip because it happened again during Harry Styles Manchester concert. And this time he fell to the ground!
In a video, circulating on social media, the 25-year-old was jumping across the stage while singing kiwi but unfortunately his moves were a bit too loose, and he lost control and slipped.
He returned to his mic to finish the song while holding on his laugh.
The former One Direction member and now a solo singer is currently on tour and doing shows in Manchester, London, Birmingham, and Glasgow.
His Fans also reacted on this incident, and some of them requested his fans to stop this since it can become a big problem for him.
Twitter user Bonita wrote, “OMG fans threw Kiwis at Harry on the friggin stage while performing Kiwi IM DEADASS LAUGHING RN but poor baby.”
Lucy wrote, “Only Harry would slip on a literal kiwi during kiwi.”
Another user Anna shared her thoughts on Twitter and wrote, “Fans are so desperate for harry styles to perform ‘kiwi’ multiple times at his shows they’ve taken to throwing the literal fruit at him.”
Willow Silverwind wrote, “Good night Harry Styles, great show tonight, watch out for those kiwis. Peace and love always, onwards & upwards & on the next gig.”
Two weeks ago, Harry Styles was subjected to some indecent behavior during his concert at the Halloween Bowl on 21st October. He apparently got groped when he got close to the audience at the We Can Survive Show, it was an all-star benefit concert for breast cancer awareness.
Footage showed that one of the fans tried to grab his crotch. Harry was not ready for this awkward situation, so he naturally turned back and rejoined the band. But he did get careful and tried not to go close to his fans.
Harry Styles chose to remain silent on the whole incident, but his fans and supporters took to Twitter and said behavior was too far. One of the users wrote, “I’m so shook that someone just thought it was okay to grab Harry Styles whole crotch like can you imagine the outrage if that was a woman.”
Another user wrote, “Harry Styles is a human being. He is not a sexual subject.”
People who were not his fans also commented on this incident. “Honestly not a big fan of Harry Styles but you have no right to grab his crotch.” commented one.
Styles is currently enjoying solo success, he is happy about his former band members success too and said, “It’s so nice for all of us. We had such a good time together. One Direction was one of the best things that ever happened to us. Now I think it’s really nice that everyone is getting to go off and write the kind of stuff they’d want to sing.”
He added, “Everything is so different, and I think that’s what’s so cool about it. It’s so nice to see each other doing so well.”
He continued, “It’s amazing to have people who want to listen to something you’ve made. It’s the biggest compliment.”
